Lisa Smith
Born in Michigan, Lisa Smith moved to Florida, Kentucky, and back to Michigan before calling Texas home. She has now proudly lived most of her life in the Lone Star State. Well-equipped to handle the shape-shifting real estate market, Lisa brings extensive organizational experience from her time as an executive assistant at a multinational oil and gas company. Lisa says, "There is no one formula for working with people. You must stay adaptable and be able to see things from varying points of view. That way you can juggle multiple clients and projects effectively."
Lisa combines her high-caliber career with her varied life experience to bring a patient, thorough, and responsive approach to her real estate business. Because she moved a lot growing up, Lisa is empathetic to those who are selling their homes and moving. She says, "I am well aware of how stressful it can be to pack up your belongings and move. On the flip side, it is exciting to find that special place to call home. This awareness helps me to serve both buyers and sellers well."
As passionate about giving back to her community as she is about helping clients, Lisa is a longtime Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo volunteer. She has recently completed her appointment as a committee Vice Chairman, and currently serves as a Lifetime Committeeman. Lisa says, "In my twenty years of volunteering with the HLS&R's Directions and Assistance Committee, I have created lifelong friendships and have great satisfaction knowing I have helped reunite hundreds of lost children with their parents at the rodeo."
